Donald M.
Miller, 81, died Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at home surrounded by his family.
He was born July 31, 1932, in Neillsville, the son of Frank and Louise
(Kessler) Miller. He attended school in Neillsville. Don worked on the family
farm, at an implement dealer and at a hatchery. Later he went out west, working
in the wheat fields and ended up in Oregon cutting trees. Don returned to
Neillsville and joined the United States Army where he achieved the rank of
corporal. After returning to Neillsville, he married Caroline Moser June 4,
1955, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville. Don and Caroline moved to
Evansville, and he began working at General Motors in Janesville, retiring in
1988 after 33 years of service. After his retirement, he worked at the
Evansville manor in the maintenance department for 13 years and helped a few
loyal farmers. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, cutting wood and hunting with his
family at his cabin in Soldiers Grove. Don’s greatest joy in life was his
family. He had a wonderful sense of humor, enjoyed visiting with people and
could get along with anyone.
He is survived by his loving wife Caroline

Trow of Evansville, Rick (Wendy) Miller of Evansville, Sue (Mike) Felder of
Huntington, IN, Jeff (Patti) Miller of Evansville; his grandchildren, Michael
