Mrs. C. G. Shell, 76, who had been in poor health for several years and had been seriously ill the past two weeks, died of a heart ailment and complications at 7:15 o’clock Saturday morning, Feb. 5, at her home here.

Funeral services were held from the Trinity Lutheran church here at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon, Feb 7, with interment in the Loyal cemetery. Rev. J. C. Langholz officiated.

Pallbearers were William Loppnow, Frank Luchterhand, August Witt, Albert Davel, Harry Voss and Frank Coryell. Those in charge of flowers were Mrs. August Witt and Mrs. Frank Coryell.

Mrs. Shell, the former Minnie Drangmeister was born in Endor, Ill., on Oct. 17, 1867, and was married in 1886 at Crete, Ill., to August Bremer, who preceded her in death. In 1920 she married C. G. Shell at Long Beach, Cal.

She had lived in Iowa from 1886 until she left there for California in 1919, and since 1924 she had been living in Loyal. Mrs. Shell was a member of Trinity Lutheran church.

Surviving, besides her husband, are a son, Louis Bremer, of Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. Dora Bremer, Of Ocheyedan, Ia.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The Tribune adds its sympathy to that of friends and neighbors to the bereaved relatives.
