Larsen, Bradley D. (New Bank Vice-Pres. - 1970)
The
resignation of Willard H. (Bill) Allen as vice president and cashier of The
First National Bank at Neillsville after 45 years of service, and the
appointment of Bradley D. Larsen, a native of Neillsville, to succeed him, was
announced this week by Wendell H. Crothers, president of the bank.
The
changes will be effective January 1, 1971.
Mr. Allen plans to retain his
seat on the board of directors of The First National Bank, of which he is a
principal stockholder.
While there had been no formal announcement
previously, it was known by many friends in and around Neillsville for some time
that Mr. Allen planned to retire, and that Mr. Larsen was being groomed to step
into his position.
Mr. Larsen has been assistant manager of the
Marshfield Clinic for the last 15 years. In addition, he has had six years’
banking experience in the Twin Cities and in Marshfield.
He and his
family purchased the former Glenn LaZotte home at 305 Clay Street last fall, and
they have been residing here since that time.
