A very pretty wedding was solemnized at St. Mary’s Czestochowa Church at Junction (Clark Co., Wis.) at 10 o’clock Saturday morning, Sept. 4th, 1948, when Father Jerome Kamla joined in holy matrimony, Clifford Ebben, son of Mrs. Harvey Ebben of Thorp, and Miss Kathryn Ann Slowiak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Slowiak of Stanley. Attending the couple as best man was Claybourne Ebben and Helen Slowiak, who wore a dress of green marquisette over taffeta. Other attending couples were Bruno Pele and Lois Roth, and Robert Rubisch and Beatrice Volk. The bridesmaids wore dresses of green marquisette over taffeta.

The bride was attired in a gown of white lace with train and fingertip veil with lace edging. She wore a crown of seeded pearls and gold cross. Her wedding bouquet was of white roses.

Flower girls were: Barbara Liszewski and Carol Ebben dressed in yellow marquisette with matching flowers in their hair. They, with the bridesmaids, carried colonial bouquets.

After the wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin the happy couple will be at home to their many friends at Augusta, Wis., where the groom operates the Century Dry Cleaners establishment. The bride was formerly employed with the Thorp Finance Corp. At Thorp.

The reception at the parish hall was attended by about sixty-five families. Out of town guests at the wedding festivities were: Mr. and Mrs. Leo Ebben and family of Kohler, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Herman, Chicago; George Herman, Chicago; George Herman, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Priemau and family, Colby; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Parker and family, Owen.
