In a simple ceremony performed on the afternoon of Aug. 28, 1948 by Rev. Philip Weller in St. Louis Rectory at Dorchester (Clark Co.), Wis., Miss Jeanne Boelter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Boelter of Thorp, Wis., became the bride of V. A. Thomas of Medford, Wis. Only immediate members of the families attended the 2:00 o’clock ceremony.
Both the bride and groom were attired in a companion suits of dark brown with a white pinstripe. The bride’s accessories were brown and white and she carried a cascade bouquet of white orchids, gladioli and swansonia. The groom had a white rose boutonniere.
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Johnson of Milwaukee, were the attending couple. Mrs. Johnson was attired in a grey suit with pink rubrum lilies. Mr. Johnson wore a brown suit and had a white rose boutonniere.
Immediately after the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas left on a trip through northern Wisconsin, Minnesota and Canada. Upon their return, they will make their home in Medford where Thomas is engaged in the floral business with his father and brother. Mrs. Thomas is employed in the Medford Office of the Thorp Finance Corp.
