Arawinko, Susan Kay (Marriage - 12
December 1970)
Miss Susan Kay Arawinko and Russell Allan Leverenz were
married Saturday, December 12, at 4:30 p.m. in Midvale Lutheran Church at
Madison. Following a wedding supper at the Top Hat, the couple left for Chicago.
They will live in Madison. Parents of the newlyweds are Prof. and Mrs. Zigmund
M. Arawinko, Madison, and the Rev. and Mrs. Arnold Leverenz, Godfrey, Ill.
The bride wore a floor-length white gown with a scalloped lace collar and
train. A lace bonnet held her elbow-length illusion veil.
Mrs. James L.
Hofsteen, Madison, was matron of honor, and Mrs. Victor Schick, Oshkosh, the
bride’s sister, and Miss Amy Leverenz, the groom’s sister, were bridesmaids.
They wore long, light green crepe gowns with moss green velvet bolero jackets.
James S. Fosdick, Madison, was bestman and David Arawinko, Madison, and
Douglas Felker, Portland, Ore., served as groomsmen. Ushers were James Hofsteen,
Madison, and William Kaiser, Clinton, Mich.
The new Mrs. Leverenz
graduated from the University Of Wisconsin School Of Speech in August and is
employed at the Quisling Clinic there. Mr. Leverenz will resume his education at
Oklahoma State University in January after serving in the Army. He is a member
of Pi Kappa Alpha. The couple will leave for Oklahoma in late December.
