Rossman, Hilda (31 AUG 1886 - 3 OCT 1948)
Hilda Ramberg was born in Baldwin, Wis., on Aug. 31st, 1886. When she was seven years old she came with her parents to a farm southwest of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.). Here she grew to womanhood.
On July 29th, 1905, she was untied in marriage to Henry Rossman of Thorp. To this union three children were born. They spent most of their life on a farm in the Town of Reseburg. She has not been in good health for the past several years. On Saturday, Oct. 2nd she suddenly became very ill, a blood clot having formed on her brain. She was called to her final sleep on Sunday, Oct. 3rd, 1948.
She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, three children, Leona (Mrs. Herbert Lewin) of Thorp; Inez (Mrs. George Bail) of McIntosh, S.D.; and Reuben of Thorp; also her aged father, three brothers, three sisters, six grandchildren and many other friends and relatives.
All her life she was a kind and patient wife, mother and sister, and will be sadly missed by her family and everyone who knew her.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday afternoon at the Thorp Funeral Home by the Rev. Walter Schoedler, of Withee. She was laid to rest in the Thorp Cemetery.

Lindboe of Stetsonville; Mrs. Louis Herman Mrs. Gerald Couillard of Gilman; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Buss, Clara and Helma Roesler of Chippewa Falls.
