Army Pvt. Arlynn J. Schneider, son of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Schneider of Colby, completed the eight-week communication center operation course January 30 at the Southeastern Signal School, Fort Gordon, Ga. Schneider was trained to receive, process and relay messages by various means of communication. He entered the U.S. Army last September and received basic combat training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. The 18-year-old soldier is a 1958 graduate of Colby High School.
