Kenneth Lowery autoed up from Janesville Friday for a visit at the
Dillenbeck and Hatton homes.
The following from here that attended the
married folks club dance at Globe Friday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Roger
Dillenbeck, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Bostwick, Mrs. D.B. Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Clark
Hatton. All present had just a fine time and are looking forward to the next
one.
Mrs. R. Dillenbeck helped her sister, Mrs. O. Dimler, cook for
threshers Saturday and Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. C. Hatton and children and
Mrs. Chas. Bostwick were callers at the Dr. K. Baker home in Owen Sunday.
The wind blew down a silo on the Waseca farm and one for Mr. Davey on
Saturday.
August Podobnik called on Steve Plautz in Willard on Monday.
Mrs. Ross and son Laird were callers at C. Hatton's and R. Dillenbeck's
Monday p.m.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Rohde and son and Grandma Rohde spent
Monday and Tuesday at A.B. Davey's.
Mike Podobnik is building a cement
hen house for Geo. Gemmeke.
Mr. and Mrs. Matt Bombach and children and C.
Hatton and family spent Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Abel.
A
crowd of young people from here attended the dance in Greenwood Saturday
evening, in spite of the rain. They all report a fine time.
Mr. Reinhardt
is threshing for the farmers in the surrounding vicinity.
The new Willard
Hall is opened to the public Saturday evening for the first time. It is a fine
building and a Community Hall that Willard might well feel proud of.
Mr.
Chas. Bostwick spent Monday evening with her mother, Mrs. A. Flagg.
Mrs.
S.B. Flagg and daughters spent Sunday with her mother and sister in West Eaton.
