The Ladies Aid will meet with Mrs. Welsh
Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 9th.
Mr. and Mrs. David rude and baby and Mr.
Rude Sr. of Chicago are visiting at the Geo. Rude home.
School began
Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Victor Vinger and Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Vinger and
brother Meldrun are attending the fair at Milwaukee.
Preaching Friday
night at the schoolhouse.
The Albert Mathias family spent Sunday at the
Robert Smith home.
The storm Thursday did some damage in the
neighborhood. Otto Wetzel's silo blew down and the roof of the chicken house.
Vivian Vinger is spending this week at the Welsh home.
Fred Busch and
Floyd Christie are hauling gravel on the road.
Chas. Markee returned from
Vernon County Monday.
Mrs. Shaw and the Withee girls will leave this week
for La Crosse. We hate to see the folks go but wish them God speed.
Threshing is about finished around here.
