Merrit Kline brought Gene McNamara back to his work Sunday.

A man was through here selling apples Monday.

The lightning struck the empty house across the road from Joe Tiecer's Saturday afternoon and splintered up the casings and knocked off plaster pretty bad, but did not burn.

Frank Richards worked for Peter Larsons Tuesday.

Mrs. Alta Palms called at the C.J. Bigelow home Tuesday.

Pete Larson filled silo Wednesday.

John Richards filled silo on the Gene Palms farm Friday.

Gene McNamara returned to Greenwood Saturday.

Ten days without frost will mean lots of ripe corn in this neighborhood.

Mrs. F.E. Dean and Joyce returned from Sparta Friday and Mr. went from Sparta to the southern part of Illinois on business for a few days.

Geo. Church called on his sister, Mrs. VanHorn, Sunday.
