Martin Konechney of St. Paul, Mr. and Mrs. Manford Nye of Rib Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Block of Rib Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Murphy of Chippewa Falls were Sunday guests of the Orea Nye’s.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Szczech visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wynimko on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. John Fijalkiewicz and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Leja and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Chura and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wynimko and daughter, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Fijalkiewicz at Ladysmith, Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray W. Schmidt and family recently moved from the Jack Borowick apartment to a home they purchased on the west side of the city.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. McGinnis of Plana, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Johnson, of Stanley, spent Saturday evening at the Hugo Roesler home here.

Bernard Schmidt and daughter Kathy of Hudson, Wis., spent Sunday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George J. Schmidt.

Mrs. A. Mauel and son Allen visited Mrs. Mary Drace at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Chippewa Falls on Tuesday.

Mrs. William Parks spent the past week visiting her mother and sister in Chicago.

Mrs. Mary Anyzewski, Frank Anyzewski, Mrs. Joseph Pawlak and Mrs. Leon Bogumill attended the funeral of an uncle last week at Chicago.

Mr. and Mrs. Anton F. Fischer spent Saturday in Medford and Marshfield on business.
