Slowiak, Mary (1854 - 19 FEB 1949)
Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Mary Slowiak, 95, at St. Mary’s Church at Junction (Clark Co., Wis.) on Feb. 22 at ten a.m., by Father Jerome Kamla.
Mrs. Slowiak, who was born in 1854 in Poland, had resided on a farm north of Stanley for the past 48 years. She passed away of old age infirmities at the home of her son Joseph on Feb. 19th, 1949.
Her husband, to whom she was wed in Poland in 1881, died here in 1925. Surviving her are five sons, Anton, John, Peter, Theodore and Joseph of Stanley, one daughter Anna, Mrs. Mike Symbal, 44 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren. Six children preceded her in death.
She was laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery at Junction.
