Miss Delores Wirth Zombkowski of New Miner, daughter of Mrs. Margie Zombkowski, became the bride of Edward Hryniewicki, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hryniewicki, Sr. of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), in a beautiful double ring ceremony at the St. Francis Church of Necedah on Saturday, May 21, 1949, at 10:00 o’clock in the morning. The marriage was performed by Father Spliner of Camp Douglas.

The bride was given in marriage by her uncle Ted Wirth of Stanley. For her wedding she chose a long white gown of slipper satin with a sweetheart neckline. Her full length train and veil were fastened with a tiara of seed pearls and orange blossoms. Her bouquet was of white calla lilies with a wide ribbon streamer. During the ceremony the bride placed a bouquet of flowers beside the altar of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Maid of honor was Florence Damski of Chicago. Bridesmaids were Beebe Zombkowski, Necedah; Charlotte Olejnik of Chicago; Gwen Winters of Necedah and Marie Martenson of Nekoosa. They all wore net and rayon dresses in pastel colors and carried bouquets of carnations and sweet peas. Gifts from the bride were pendant necklaces to match their gowns.

Flower girls were Judy Hryniewicki of Thorp and Sarah Damski of Lublin, and Tommy Schwartz of Chicago was ring bearers. Gifts of the bride for the flowers girls were heart-shaped lockets with a rhinestone center. The girls were dressed alike in white satin similar to the bride’s gown. They carried baskets of sweet peas. The ring bearer was dressed in dark trousers, white dinner jacket and wore a white carnation boutonniere.

The groom’s attendants were Leon Pawlak of Thorp; Clarence Kay, Wis. Dells; Lawrence Damski, Chicago and LaVere Winters, Necedah. They wore white dinner jackets with black trousers and white carnation boutonnieres.

The bride attended the New Miner grade school and two years at Alexander High School, Nekoosa, Wis. The groom attended the Pioneer grad school and four at the Thorp High School. The groom is an electrician.

After a wedding trip through northern Wisconsin the couple will make their home at Necedah, Wis. The bride’s traveling costume was a gray corded nylon suit. Out of town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wirth, Ted Wirth and son, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hansen of Stanley; Mr. and Mrs. Steve Kostick, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Belicki and son, Miss Eleanor Kutnarowski of Thorp; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jarocki and sons of Abbotsford; Bernard Flunker of Chippewa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Shnick, Wis. Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. John Damski and Sarah of Thorp. The reception was held at the bride’s home attended by 700 guests.
