Ostenson, Tina Marie (17 Apr. 1892 - 5 May 1959)

Funeral services for Mrs. Melvin Ostenson of Curtiss who passed away suddenly, at the age of 67 years, at her home Tuesday evening, May 5, were held at the United Church of Christ at Colby Friday afternoon, Rev. V. O. Grosshuesch officiating, and burial was made in Pine Hill cemetery, Curtiss. Mrs. Alfred Thompson accompanied Mrs. Opal Peissig and Mrs. Harold Stange who sang "In the Gardens" and "Beyond the Sunset." Pall bearers were Albert Klessig, Wm. Jakel, A. M. Erickson, Herbert Meyer, Wm. Ebert and Wm. Singstock.

The former Tina Marie Gosse was born in Calumet county on April 17, 1892. She married Melvin Ostenson on October 28, 1915. Surviving are her husband; one son, Roy Ostenson of Bloomer; two daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Adelaide) Goodspeed of Jackson, Ohio, and Ethel, at home; five grand children; one sister, Mrs. George Kelsey of Abbotsford; two brothers, Fred and Carl of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
