Fischer, Janice Carol (Marriage - 6 June 1959)
Miss Janice Carol Fischer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Fischer of Colby, was united in marriage at a 10 o’clock ceremony Saturday morning in St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby to James Peter Heindl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nic Heindl of Abbotsford, Rev. A. W. Heindl officiating.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a floor-length gown of Chantilly lace over satin featuring a scalloped neckline and a finger-tip veil held by a crown of sequins. She carried a cascade bouquet of red and white roses.
Mrs. Valgene Fischer of Colby was matron of honor and Miss Bonnie Fischer of Colby and Miss Shirley Kallep of Abbotsford were bridesmaids.
They wore dresses of blue nylon lace over taffeta with matching hats and carried cascade bouquets of white and yellow chrysanthemums.
Urban Heindl of Abbotsford was best man and groomsmen were Valgene Fischer of Colby and Jerry Heindl of Green Bay.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at Colby City Hall.
Mr. Heindl is employed at the H.&S. Electric Shop in Abbotsford, Wis. The bride attended Colby High School and has been employed at Bauman Poultry Farm in Abbotsford, Wis.
Following a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin the couple will make their home in Dorchester, Wis.
