Kobylarczyk, Margaret (18 JUN 1949)

At ten o’clock Saturday, June 18th, 1949 a pretty wedding was solemnized at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), when Margaret Kobylarczyk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kobylarczyk, became the bride of Donald Hoffman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hoffman, Thorp.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was beautifully attired in a gown of net over ivory satin with bodice and sleeves of Chantilly lace. The full hoop skirt ended in a long train with lace insertions, and the fingertip veil of French illusion fell from a crown of pearls and rhinestones that matched the gown. She carried a bouquet of white roses and an orchid. Streamers were held in place with ivy.

Her attendants were Miss Henrietta Bronars, of Chicago, as maid of honor and the following bridesmaids: Miss Violet Remenius of Gary, Ind., cousin of the bride; Miss Louis Kobylarczyk, sister of the bride, and Gladys Sorenson, friend of the bride. The maid of honor wore white net over peach taffeta and the bridesmaids wore white net over aqua taffeta. The gowns were identical with shirred bodice and full net skirts. A crown of American beauty roses adorned their hair, and theycarried net muffs that matched the gowns, with the roses formed in a heart shape.

Leon Kobylarczyk, brother of the bride, was best man. Richard Bronars of Chicago, cousin of the groom, and Ray Kobylarczyk, brother of the bride. The groom and his attendants wore white jacket tuxedoes with American beauty boutonnieres.

The bride and the groom’s mothers wore navy blue dresses. Each wore an orchid corsage.

A wedding reception was held at the P.N.A. Hall, Thorp to about 500 relatives and friends. Music was furnished by Mike Sciezor and his orchestra.

The happy couple will make their home in Chicago, Ill. Their many friends and relatives join in wishing them a life of wedded bliss.
