Pietrasiewicz, Stefania (SEP 1874 - 26 JUN 1949)

Mrs. Stefania Pietrasiewicz died at her home in Boyd, Wis., of heart disease on June 26, 1949. She had reached the age of 74 years.

The deceased was born in Poland in Sept. 1874. She came to America in 1887 and on Jan. 25, 1900 was united in marriage to Alex Pietrasiewicz, now deceased. She came to Thorp in 1901 and resided in this community until 1946.

She is survived by one son, Henry, of 2548 So. 5th Ave., Milwaukee, three daughters, Mrs Marie Koniecki and Mrs. Agnes Borkowicz of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Anna Matera of Boyd, Wis., one brother, Wm. Ruet of Chicago, and one sister, Mrs. Valeria Zagorski of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Church here on Saturday morning, June 30t, Rev. Piekarski officiating and interment taking place in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were: John P. Koniecki, Ed Gay, Victor and Frank Soborowicz, Stanley Wrzosek and Leon Polites.
