Schultz, Gladys (13 November 1903 - 30 December 1970)

Funeral services for Mrs. Jesse (Gladys) Schultz, 67, of Beloit, who died December 30, 1970, at a Monroe Hospital, were conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. from the Rosman-Uehling-Kitzer Funeral Home in Beloit and Monday, January 4, at 1 p.m. from the Neillsville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Melvin Nickel officiated at services here, and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery. The Georgas Funeral Home was in charge of the local arrangements.

Mrs. Schultz, the former Gladys Waterman, was born November 13, 1903, the daughter of Edward and Angie (Babcock) Waterman, in the Town of Washburn. Her marriage to Jesse Schultz took place December 24, 1923, in Granton. They farmed in the Granton-Neillsville area as well as at Alma Center, leaving there for Beloit 18 years ago.

Mrs. Schultz was a member of Christ Methodist Church at Beloit, of the Royal Neighbors, and of the Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include her husband, a son Wendell James Schultz of Beloit, three grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Elmer (Eunice) Kapfer, of Granton.
