Jeremenko, Pawel (4 March 1894 - 4 January 1971)

Funeral services for Pawel Jeremenko, 76, of Memorial Home who died there on Monday, January 4, will be held Friday, January 8 at 2 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home. The body of Mr. Jeremenko will lie in state at the funeral home beginning today (Thursday) at 9 a.m. The Rev. Nicolaus Yarmolovich of Minneapolis, Minn., will conduct the services. Burial will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Mr. Jeremenko was born March 4, 1894, in the Ukraine, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Seman Jeremenko. He came to the United States as an adult, locating originally in Chicago where he worked before settling on a farm in Shortville. He was a resident of Memorial Home since 1969. Mr. Jeremenko talked with one of his daughters and his daughter-in-law just a year ago when they called him from Moscow, Russia.

Besides his wife, Anastazcja, he is survived by four daughters, Elizabeth, Mary, Raisia, and Anastazcja, and 18 grandchildren, all in Russia. A son preceded him in death.
