Chudyk, Patricia Ann (Marriage - 1 Aug. 1959)
Miss Patricia Ann Chudyk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Chudyk of Owen, became the bride of Arnold Jagodinski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jagodinski of Owen, at a 10 A.M. ceremony in St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby Saturday morning. Rev. J. B. Pinion officiated and Mrs. A. M. Gabriel was organist. The church was decorated with summer flowers for the occasion.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a gown of Chantilly lace styled by a Sabrina neckline and a chapel-length train. Her veil of illusion was held by a crown of pearls and sequins and she carried a bouquet of American Beauty roses.
Miss Donna Untiedt of Milwaukee was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Miss Harriet Laabs of Owen and Miss Majorie Bautch, also of Owen. Geraldine Bautch and Barbara Makovec of Owen were junior bridesmaids. They wore gowns of royal blue net and lace with pearls, and carried bouquets of yellow roses and white daisies.
Marilyn Makovec and Jeffery Bautch of Owen were flower girl and ring bearer.
James Sowieja of Owen was best man and groomsmen were Alfred Laabs of Owen, and Kenneth Decker of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Junior groomsmen were Bernard Bautch and Terry Graham of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Paul Kline, Russel Decker, Harry Dumber and Marlyn Sommer ushered.
Following the ceremony a dinner was served in the church dining room and a reception held at the home of the bride’s parents. An evening dance was held at Kolby Park.
The bride has been employed in the law offices of Nikolay, Jensen and Scott of Abbotsford, Wis. Mr. Jagodinski is a farmer and the couple will make their home on a farm near Owen.
