Albert, Minnie (11 JUN 1870 - 28 SEP 1949)

Funeral services for Mrs. Chas. Albert, 79, of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), were conducted by Rev. Harry Lee of Marshfield, at the Thorp Funeral Home here at one o’clock Friday afternoon, Sept. 30, 1949. Mrs. Albert passed away of carcinoma at the Stanley hospital on Sept. 28, 1949.

Minnie Ende was born in Kikoskee, Dodge Co., Wis., on June 11, 1870. She was untied in marriage to Charles Albert at Horicon, Wis., on March 30, 1891. She came to Thorp with her husband in 1895 and they located on a farm in the Town of thorp for ten years before moving to the city of Thorp. Here she and her husband operated a small store for many years. Mr. Albert passed away on Feb. 29, 1940.

Mrs. Albert was an active member of the Mayflower Rebekah Lodge and the Women’s Relief Corps of Thorp, and had a large circle of friends who deeply mourn her passing.

She is survived by one son, George Albert of Stratford, Wis., and one sister, Mrs. Anna Darge of Mankato, Minn.

The remains were taken to Horicon Friday afternoon and interment took place in the Horicon Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were: Peter Kronberg, Mike Kronberg, Wm. S. Wagner, J.E. Lund, Walter Fults and Ed Fenstermacher.
