Boyer, Debbie Lynn (Marriage - 2
January 1971)
Miss Debbie Lynn Boyer and Denis James Steltenpohl were
married Saturday, January 2, in a 2 p.m. double-ring ceremony performed by the
Rev. Roland Roehrs, at Christ Lutheran Church in Chili. Parents of the couple
are Mr. and Mrs. Wallace D. Boyer, Rt. 1 Chili, and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer L.
Steltenpohl of Neillsville.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride
wore a satin gown trimmed with Chantilly lace and accented by a chapel-length
mantilla veil. She carried a bouquet of pink Sweetheart roses and white ‘mums.
Miss Kathy Cattanach of Marshfield was maid-of-honor. Bridesmaid was Miss
Debby Steltenpohl, sister of the groom. Both attendants wore floor-length gowns
of orchid velvet and pink crepe. Their flowers were lavender ‘mums.
Dave
Bieneck served as bestman and pat Bauer, groomsman. Ushers were Jerry
Steltenpohl and Dave Boyer.
A reception for 75 guests was held at the
Wildcat Inn west of Neillsville. Music was provided by the Green Valley
Dutchmen.
The bride, a 1969 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School,
was employed at Jerry’s Bakery in Marshfield. Her husband is a 1969 Neillsville
High School graduate. He is employed by the Nelson Muffler Corp. as a welder.
