Justman, Louis W. (6 Feb. 1891 - 8 Nov. 1959)
Louis W. Justman died of a heart attack at his home Sunday morning at the age of 68 years. Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock in Zion Lutheran church, Rev. Wm. R. Christian officiating, and internment will be made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Harry Bender, I. M. Firnstahl, Ed Frome, Jack Young, Peter Apfelbeck and William Ebert.
Mr. Justman was born on February 6, 1891, in the town of Unity where he was married to Pauline Domer on June 28, 1917. They operated a farm in the town of Unity until 11 years ago when they moved to Colby, Wis. He held offices in his township and school district and held the office of commander of the American Legion Post.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Joyce) Pitz of LaCrosse; Mrs. Julius (Lorraine) Lange of Owen; Mrs. Delphin (Ruby) Dommer of Colby; seven grand children; five sisters, Mrs. William Schwantes of Colby, Mrs. Emil Marten of Spencer; Mrs. Maynard Yahr of Unity; Mrs. Harry Hermanson of Spencer; Mrs. Herbert Lambert of Edgar; two brothers, Walter Justman of Spencer; and Norville Justman of Edgar.
Mr. Justman was well known here for his fine Christian character, honest in all his dealings, and, being of a congenial disposition, had many friends who will miss him.
