Harold L. Cook, 58, Loyal died
Sunday, September 18, at 9:30 p.m.at Memorial Hospital. Neillsville of
Emphysema.
The Myre Funeral Home was in charge of all the arrangements
and the services were held at the Loyal Methodist Church, Wednesday, September
21 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Lelan Shaw officiated and burial was made in the Loyal
Cemetery.
Mr. Cook was born December `5, 1907 at Laurens, Iowa, December
24, 1930 he married Beth Pratt, at Stillwater, Minnesota. As a child he lived at
Lakeville, Minnesota. When a young man, the family moved to Glenwood City,
Wisconsin. After their marriage they moved to Menomonie until 1948, when they
came to the Loyal area and farmed in the town of Beaver. In April of 1966 they
moved to the city.
He was a member of the Loyal Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife; five sons, Gene, Waukesha; Roy, and Larry,
Marshfield; Lee, Milwaukee; and Dennis, Loyal; and one daughter, Mrs. Fern
Switlick, Milwaukee; eleven grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Henry Luhman,
Downing.
He was preceded in death by one grandchild and two brothers.
