Deming, Charles P. (1863 - 25 DEC 1905)
We have just received word that Dr. Charles Perry Deming died at his home in Ashland (Wis.) Dec. 25th, 1905, of heart trouble. Mr. Deming was a dentist of fine repute and a popular public spirited gentleman. His countless friends paid him a glowing tribute in the columns of their local papers. He was born in Dane Co. in 1863, graduated in 1887 from the Chicago College of Dental Surgery, and was an able assistant to Dr. H. A. Pitcher in Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.) for some months after graduating, previous to his removal to Ashland.
He was a brother of the Late H. W. Deming of this city, whose wife still resides here. He leaves two brothers, Edward, an attorney at Marshfield and Rufus of Madison, also two sisters, Mrs. F. Hillier and Mrs. C. J. Fish, both of Iowa.
