Kirchhoefer, Martha (1885? - 2 Dec. 1959)

Mrs. Alwin Kirchhoefer, a former Colby resident, died at Wisconsin Rapids where she and her husband, Rev. Kirchhoefer, live with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Kirchhoefer. Funeral services will be held in the Lutheran church in Wisconsin Rapids Friday afternoon.

Rev. Kirchhoefer served as pastor of Zion Lutheran church in Colby, Wisconsin for many years. From here, the family moved to Kellner, Wis., and, on retiring, moved to Chicago, Ill., where they lived for some time and then went to Wisconsin Rapids.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Martin; one daughter, Esther, of Normal, Ill. One daughter, Lydia, died two years ago.

Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Bruss and Mrs. Emma Zillmer of Colby and Mrs. A. F. Beawer of Hamburg attended the funeral services of Mrs. A. Kirchhoefer at Wisconsin Rapids. Mrs. Kirchhoefer was the wife of a former pastor of Zion Lutheran church in Colby, Wis.
