Tuesday evening at 7:00 o'clock, at the parsonage of Trinity Lutheran church, Mrs. Bertha Matter of Spencer and Herman Bruss of the town of Sherman were united in marriage, the Rev. Stapel officiating. After the ceremony a dinner was served to 25 guests. The bride and groom will make their home on the Bruss farm in the town of Sherman.

Guest included Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Greeler and family of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Allen Nickel and son of Manitowoc; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Krause of Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Osetreich and son of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Otto Luther of Marshfield; Miss Deloris Sautner of Spencer.
