Klanchar, John (1905 - 25 SEP 1925)

John Klanchar, the nineteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Klanchar of near Willard (Clark Co., Wis.), was accidentally killed at Chicago Friday. John had gone to Chicago about a month ago to work in a factory. He was on an elevator at the factory and was learning over the elevator gate as it was going up. His head was caught between the gate and upper floor and he was instantly killed.

His body was brought home Saturday. Funeral services were held Monday morning in Holy Family Church, where solemn services were conducted for the deceased. The different societies participated at the funeral, which was one of the largest Willard ever witnessed. The body was laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery at Willard.

Deceased is survived by his parents, several brothers and sisters at home and one married sister in Chicago. He also leaves many other relatives and a host of friends.

The bereaved parents and relatives have the sympathy of their many friends in this, their hour of sorrow.
