Greenwood, John Anthony (15 Mar. 1895 - 11 Apr. 1960)

John A. Greenwood, a native of Colby and a resident of Minneapolis, Minn., the past 41 years, died Monday, April 11, at the age of 64 years. Services were held last Thursday at St. Austin Catholic church at Minneapolis and internment was made in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Mr. Greenwood was a street-car motorman and bus driver for the Twin City Rapid Transit Co. for 41 years. He was a past district commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of post 159. He was also a past department commander of the Veterans of World War I, Barracks 233, and a member of the St. Austin Holy Name Society.

Surviving are his wife, Leone, and a sister, Mrs. Jane Horton, both of Minneapolis.
