Untiedt, Donna Rae (Marriage - 23 Apr. 1960)
Miss Donna Rae Untiedt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Untiedt of Curtiss, and Donald G. Scidmore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Scidmore of Colby, Wisconsin were married Saturday in St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby by Rev. John Pinion. The children’s choir sang the nuptial high mass.
The bride wore a floor-length gown of white lace and tulle over satin with a tulle ruffling at the hem and neckline, long sleeves, a chapel sweep train and a finger-tip-length veil falling from a crown of lace. She carried a bouquet of red roses and white carnations.
Mrs. Lloyd Scidmore of Colby was matron of honor and Mrs. Barry Dorazio was bridesmaid. They wore blue and pink silk organza gowns in ballerina length with portrait collars and matching veiled headpieces. They carried nosegays of pink roses and white carnations.
Lloyd Scidmore was best man and Barry Dorazio was groomsman. Ushers were Emil Untiedt and Bob Steffes.
Following the ceremony a dinner was served in the gymnasium of the church to 150 guests and was followed by a reception at the Scidmore home.
The bride has been employed at Marine National Bank in Milwaukee and the groom is employed in DesPlaines, Ill., where the couple will make their home.
