Peter M. Sanders, 79, of Willard died Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood, is assisting the family with arrangements.

WILLARD -- Peter M. "Cowboy Pete" Sanders, 79, of Willard, died Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday, from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Peter Monroe Sanders was born Dec. 7, 1929, in Kansas, to James B. and Nancy V. (Woods) Sanders. He grew up in Arkansas and was united in marriage in 1968 to Lynne K. Magoon. They later divorced.
He worked as a foreman on a hog ranch in Oklahoma and then worked in construction, as an ironworker, in Oklahoma for many years.
He is survived by four sons, Peter B. Sanders of Eau Claire, Billy J. Sanders of Chippewa Falls, James B. Sanders of Chetek and John W. Sanders of Connecticut.
