Burtard, Selma E. (Marriage –1950)
Miss Selma E. Burtard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John O. Burtard of Owen, has become the bride of Herbert Bloom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bloom of Dorchester, Wis. The wedding occurred at the Evangelical and Reformed Church parsonage at Colby, Wis.
The bride wore an aqua suit, a black hat and a corsage of tiger lilies. Her attendants, Miss Dora Ackerman, a cousin, of Curtiss, wore a gray suit and Mrs. Carl Bloom of Dorchester, was attired in a tan suit.
The groom was attended by Carl Bloom and Orville Burtard,
The couple is making their home on a farm near Dorchester, following a honeymoon in northern Wisconsin.
