Missling, Alvera Ann (Marriage - 1950)
Trinity Lutheran Church at Spencer was the recent scene of the wedding of Miss Alvera Ann Missling, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Missling of Loyal, to Kenneth Roger Peterson, son of Mrs. Anna Peterson of Waupaca.
The bride wore a gown of white organza over satin with a sash tying into a large bow. The bodice was trimmed with buttons marching down the front and a Peter-Pan color. A skull-type cap of organza over satin held in place the shoulder length veil. She carried an arm bouquet of red roses.
Attendants for the bride were Mrs. Bert Brown of Greenwood, as matron of honor, Miss Lorraine Missling, as bridesmaid. She wore blue and pink organza over satin.
The groom was attended by Richard Peterson of Waupaca, as best man, and Roger LaMay, as groomsman.
The bride is a graduate of the Loyal High School and took a home economics course at Stout Institute, Menomonie. The groom is a graduate of the Scandinavia High School and is employed at Christoph’s Dairy, Waupaca, where the young people have been making their home since Tuesday, September 5.
