Weaver, Mary Sayles (8 November 1877 - 5 September 1950)
Mrs. Mary Weaver of Owen passed away in her sleep Tuesday September 5, 1950 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Haselow, Owen, where she had been making her home.
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, September 7 at 1:30 p.m. at the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin) in Owen with Rev. Myron Glick officiating. Musical numbers were sung by Harriet Marking with Mrs. Arthur Wilson at the piano. Burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.
Mrs. Weaver, nee Mary Sayles, was born on November 8, 1877 in Dodge County. In 1900, with her parents, she moved to Clark County. On August 3, 1904 she was married to Morris Weaver of Loyal. They lived at Loyal until 1919 when they moved to Neillsville. She lived at Neillsville until five years ago when her husband died. Since then she has made here home with her children, most recently residing in Owen.
She was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers.
She is survived by three children, Percy of Dwight, Ill.; Helen, Mrs. Elmer Haselow, of Owen; and Walter, a dentist at the naval air station, Barbers Point, Hawaii. Nine grandchildren, several nieces and nephews survive.
