Zettl, John (2 Apr. 1877 - 27 Mar. 1952)

Spencer, Wis. -- John Zettl, 74, a resident of this village 70 years, died at his home at 9:15 A.M. today. He had been in poor health the past two years. He was a retired railroad worker.

Mr. Zettl was born April 2, 1877, in Hellsdorf, Bohemia. He came to this county with his parents at the age of four, settling in Spencer. He married Anna Luchterband Aug. 25, 1908, in Abbotsford, Wis.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday at the Swarthout Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Trobaugh, Marshfield, will officiate and burial will be made in the West Spencer Cemetery. The body will repose at the funeral home from Friday afternoon to the time of services.

Mr. Zettl is survived by his wife, a son, John, Milwaukee; two daughters, Mrs. Elwood (Edna) Violet, and Mrs. Harvey (Luella) Harrison, Eugene, Ore.; and two grand children.

A son preceded him in death.
