Bruesewitz, Emma (3 Feb. 1888 - 17 Nov. 1953)

Mrs. Walter Bruesewitz, 65, passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 17, 1953 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield after a lingering illness. Mrs. Bruesewitz had been in the hospital a week. The body will repose at the Swartout Funeral Home until 1 P.M. Friday, when it will be taken to Trinity Lutheran Church where funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Randolph Mueller at 2 o'clock Friday Afternoon.

Burial will be made in the West Spencer Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband and one son, Arnold, of Spencer, two sisters, Mrs. Tillie Monthe, Spencer and Mrs. Ida Justman, Birnamwood; one brother, Frank Marten, Freemont; and two grandchildren.

Four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Mrs. Bruesewitz, the former Emma Marten, was born February 3, 1888 at Spencer and was married to Walter Bruesewitz June 9, 1910. They lived on a farm northwest of Spencer until seven years ago when they moved to the Village.

She was confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church and was a member of the Ladies Aid, Trinity Lutheran Church.
