Pope, Armin (4 June 1925 - 18 Mar. 1940)
Armin Pope, son of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Pope of the Town of Holton, died Monday morning at the Memorial Hospital, Wausau.
He was born June 4, 1925. Having completed his eighth grade work he entered Dorchester High School as a Freshman last fall. Illness, which lasted several months, caused his death, early Monday morning.
The funeral services took place Thursday afternoon at one o’clock at the Pope residence and at two o’clock at the Salem Evangelical church. The Rev. R. P. Browe conducted the services. Internment followed in the Dorchester cemetery.
Surviving Armin are his parents, two brothers, Gene and Kayo and a sister, Joyce, all younger than he. Both grandmothers, Mrs. Mary Pope of Dorchester and Mrs. Emma Roder of Milan also survive.
