Spear, L. E. (1872 - 28 DEC 1949)
L. E. Spear, 77, president of the Blue Moon Cheese Co. in the mid-1930’s, died last Wednesday at Minneapolis.
Services for Mr. Spear were held at Minneapolis Saturday. He is survived by his wife and three sons.
Mr. Spear was widely known for his inventions. He did early work on gasoline engines and designed farm tractors for a Winona, Minn. firm. He also invented a cheese packaging machine.
