Micke, Barbara (18 FEB 1872 - 16 JAN 1950)

Mrs. Barbara Micke was born in Billion, Wis. on Feb. 18th, 1872 and died at her home in Stanley on Jan. 16, 1950.

She was married to Barney Micke at Holland, Wis., on Sept. 28, 1896. They came that fall to the Town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.) and resided there until 1938 when they retired and went to Stanley.

She was a member of St. Ann’s Christian Mother’s Socieity.

She is survived by her husband. Also the following children: Anton of Thorp; Clarence of Gilman; Joseph of Owen; Mildred (Mrs. Ben Kmiec) of Greenwood, and 16 grandchildren. Brothers and sisters are: Tony Bowman of Hortonville, Wis., Frank Bowman of Billion, Wis., Mrs. Mary Gill of Manitowoc, Wis., Mrs. Anna Galbrieth of Manitowoc, Wis.

Six children, two grandchildren, one brother and one sister preceded her in death.

The funeral will be held at St. Ann’s Church at Stanley at 9:30 Thursday morning, Jan. 19th, Father Pitzenberger officiating, with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Six grandsons will be pallbearers.
