Mueller, Frank (31 MAR 1864 - 21 JAN 1950)

Frank Mueller passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Joe Melbinger, at the Melbinger farm home on Jan. 21, 1950, of old age infirmities. He had reached the ripe old age of 85 years, 9 months and 21 days.

Mr. Mueller, well and favorably known in this community, came to the Town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.) fifty-five years ago. He was born in Germany on March 31, 1864 and came to America in the 1880’s, residing first in Milwaukee, then Ashland, N.D. and Westboro, Wis. before coming to Thorp.

In May 1894 he was united in marriage to Mrs. Anna Erben at Westboro, who preceded him in death on March 2, 1930.

He is survived by two step-children, Mrs. Anna Melbinger of Withee and Joe Erben of Medford.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Glick of Owen at the Thorp Funeral Home on Jan. 24th at 2:00 p.m., and interment took place in the Reseburg Cemetery. Pallbearers were Nels Myrin, Dan Schultze, Cutis Blodgett, Virgil Bobb, Charles Hardy and Lester Butterfield.
