The Loyal Tribune 13 July 1944

Tomlinson, Carrie L. (15 MAY 1866 - 7 MAY 1944)

Carrie Louise Tomlinson was born to Mr. and Mrs. William Welsh (both deceased) on a farm near Loyal on May 15, 1866, and passed away at Eloise hospital in Eloise, Mich., on May 7. Her husband, William C. Tomlinson died on Mar. 2, 1935, in North Dakota.

She leaves to mourn her loss three daughters, Mrs. P. J. (grace) Klick of Minneapolis, Mrs. Ray (Gertrude) Kizer of Dearborn, Mich., and Gladys, address unknown, and two sons, James of California and William of Dearborn, Mich., and several grandchildren.

One daughter, Isabel, passed away several years ago. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. William Catlin and Mrs. William Vetter of Perkinstown; two brothers, Grant and George Welsh, both of Loyal, and many friends and relatives.

Services were held at the Luerfield funeral home in Dearborn, and interment was made in Northview cemetery. Rev. Knopp of the Christian and Missionary Alliance church officiated.

She was a kind and loving mother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The Tribune adds its sympathy to that of friends and neighbors to the bereaved relatives.
