Watenpuhl, Rhonda Kathleen (Marriage - 6 February 1971)

Miss Rhonda Kathleen Watenpuhl became the bride of Robert James Neuendorf during a 7 p.m. candlelight ceremony performed Saturday evening at Greenfield Park Lutheran Church in West Allis by the Rev. William Meier. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Watenpuhl and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Neuendorf of Neillsville.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white satin gown appliquéd with white daisies. Her full-length veil was held by a headpiece trimmed with pearls and beads. She carried a cascade bouquet of red and white flowers.

The bride’s sister, Linda Watenpuhl, was maid-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Carol Hoepner, Judy Zimmerman and Shirley Neuendorf. They were attired in identical empire-waist gowns fashioned of chiffon over taffeta. They aqua chiffon bodices, styled with long, full sleeves, were separated from the full, aqua and orchid printed divided skirts by banding of orchid velvet. Each carried two long-stemmed roses.

Ronald Ulvog served as bestman. Groomsmen were Terry Hanson, Robert Kuehn and Randall Watenpuhl.

Both the bride and groom are 1969 graduates of Milwaukee Lutheran High school. She is a student technician at St. Luke’s Hospital and he is a student at Concordia College. They will reside temporarily at 740 S. 110th St. in West Allis.
