Hallowell, Olga (13 November 1889 - 29 January 1971)
Funeral services
for Mrs. Olga Hallowell, 81, Marshfield, who died January 29, at the Marshfield
Convalescent center, were held February 1 at 2 p.m. from the Roycraft Funeral
Home in Loyal. The Rev. Conrad Mickelson officiated and burial was made in the
Pine Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Hallowell, the former Olga Johnson, was born
November 13, 1889, in Milwaukee. Her marriage to Charles S. Hallowell took place
March 5, 1917, in Clark County. He died on July 2, 1954.
Survivors
include five children, Norman Hallowell of Orlando, Fla.; Mrs. Ralph (Ruth)
Oestreich, Loyal; Mrs. John (Helen) Paschke, Greenwood; Howard Hallowell,
Marshfield; Mrs. Leon (Viola) Kline, Marshfield; 24 grandchildren and 15
great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two brothers, Harold Johnson and
Sigward Johnson, both of Loyal; and by two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd (Julia) Hebert
and Mrs. Ann Catlin, also of Loyal.
Pallbearers were: Mike Oestreich,
Allen Christenson, Clifford Hallowell, Gary Hallowell, John Paschke, Jr., and
Gust Paschke. Mrs. Mavis Rossow sang “In the Garden” and “What a Friend we have
in Jesus” accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Gladys Olson.
