The Reformed Ladies Aid will meet with Mrs. A.C.
Buker Thursday, Jan. 28th.
Mayor A.S. Armstrong and son Donald were
Marshfield visitors Saturday.
Miss Edna Horn left Saturday for Woodstock,
Ill. for an indefinite stay.
Mrs. Paul Rossman returned to her home at
Wausau Saturday after spending several weeks here with relatives and friends.
Mrs. Frank Matz returned from Marshfield last week where she took a course
of medical treatments.
P.W. Gullord, who has been a patient at the
hospital at Eau Claire for several weeks, returned home Saturday, much improved
in health.
Be sure to attend the Rod & Gun Club dance at the Opera House
tonight.
A number of friends had a surprise party at the Erwin Leach home
Saturday evening. The occasion was Mrs. Leach's birthday. All present report a
very enjoyable time.
Rudolph Vollrath was taken to the hospital at
Marshfield last week where he submitted to an operation.
Walter Stauss,
county agent of Eau Claire County, with headquarters in Eau Claire, spent Friday
of last week here with friends.
G.V. Rork of Owen was a Greenwood visitor
last Thursday.
L.C. Clute went to Milwaukee yesterday to attend the Auto
Show.
Mrs. E.T. Opdyke is ill at her home at this writing.
The
Interse Club met with Mrs. C.F. Ludwig last evening.
George Speich left
for Milwaukee Sunday where he went to attend the Auto Show.
Dr. J.R.
Thomas of La Crosse is in charge of the dental practice of Dr. Clute. Dr. Thomas
has taken over the work and asks your patronage and cooperation.
Otto
Creg went to Milwaukee Tuesday to attend the Auto Show.
Mrs. Harold
Stabnow entertained the Suffragettes at her home Tuesday evening.
Albert
Noah arrived from Greenwood Monday to visit his brother, Oscar Noah, at Praag
(Mondovi Herald-News).
Miss Una Carteron, nurse at the Marshfield
Hospital, arrived here Saturday for a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O.L.
Carteron.
Dr. R.H. Clute, who has been quite ill for some time, left
Tuesday for Milwaukee where he entered the sanitarium. His many friends here
hope that his condition will improve and that he will be well and able to return
home soon.
