Kadonsky, Irene (Marriage - 27 Apr. 1940)
In the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Milwaukee, Miss Irene Kadonsky, daughter of Frank Kadonsky of Abbotsford, became the bride of Anthony Sara of Milwaukee, Saturday morning, April 27th. The nuptial mass was read at eight o’clock before an altar banked with white calla lilies.
The bride wore a navy blue suit with accessories to match and carried a bouquet of sweet peas and orchids.
The couple was attended by Helen Sara, aunt of the groom, and Joe Sara, brother of the groom.
Following the services a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the groom’s parents and a five o’clock dinner was served at the Shorecrest Hotel. Out of town guests attending were Frank Kadonsky and sons, Francis, and Raymond, and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Peterson, Abbotsford, Mrs. Ray Bailey and daughters of South Bend, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. Emil Foug and Mrs. Alvina Clement of Menomonie Falls.
Mrs. Sara was graduated from the Abbotsford high school in 1937 and from Miss Brown’s Business College. She is employed as a secretary by the Credit Bonding Company, at Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Mr. Sara is employed at the David White Surveying Estimate Co., in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Mr. and Mrs. Sara are on a wedding trip to Chicago and on their return to Milwaukee will be at home to friends at 1444 Aster street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
