Westbay, Philan (Marriage - 13 February 1971)
Miss Philan Westbay became
the bride of Randall Craig Susa Saturday, February 13, in a 2 p.m. double-ring
ceremony performed by the Rev. Eugene Antrim at the Greenwood United Methodist
Church. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Philenus (Bub) Westbay, Jr., of
Rt. 1 Greenwood. The groom’s parents are Cletus Susa and Mrs. Richard Noah, both

a bodice of Chantilly lace, accented with a bouffant skirt of nylon net. Her
nylon veil was held in place by a pearl and crystal crown. She carried a bouquet
of red and white carnations entwined with ivy.
Gail D. Susa of Milwaukee
was the maid-of-honor. Bridesmaid was Patricia Vollrath. Both wore floor-length,
empire-styled gowns of red chiffon accented by a bow centered on a white band of
satin encircling the waistline. A flattering ruffle framed the cavalier-shaped
sleeves and the jewel neckline. Red veils were secured by French bows of white
satin. They carried heart-shaped bouquets of ‘mums and carnations.
Frank
Ulesich served as bestman and Raymond Miller was groomsman. Ushers were Patrick
Herrick and Bill Slingerland. Music was provided by Mr. and Mrs. Gary Schultz.
A reception was held at the Greenwood American Legion Hall; where red and
white decorations followed a Valentine’s Day theme.
The groom is a1970
graduate of Greenwood High School. The newlyweds are living in Greenwood.
