Howard, Bette (Marriage - 1950)
The West Side Church was the scene of the recent wedding of Bette Howard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth H. Marden of Greenwood, and Jack Kruger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Kruger of Loyal. Rev. J. Klingeberger officiated at the ceremony. Mrs. Klingeberger played the organ.
The bride wore a wine suit with grey accessories. Her attendant, Mrs. Gilbert Loos, sister of the groom, wore a green suit with brown accessories. The bride and her attendant wore shoulder corsages of white gardenias.
The groom was attended by his brother-in-law, Gilbert Loos.
A wedding reception was held for the wedding party, family, and friends, at the home of the bride’s parents. The buffet lunch included a three tier wedding cake topped with a bride and groom statuette.
The young couple will make their home in Mayville, Wisconsin, where the groom is employed.
