Miss Patricia Ann Krebsbach
and Alan Duane Ridderbusch were married Saturday, February 13, at 1 p.m. in St.
Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby by Rev. Rushman. The double-ring ceremony was
performed before 275 guests. Soloist was Miss Beverly Schmidt; Sister Patricia
was the organist. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Krebsbach of R.
1 Colby and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Ridderbusch of Abbotsford.
Given in
marriage by her parents, the bride wore a gown of white sadapo silk styled with
a lace-edged empire waistline and high, stand-up lace collar. The lace-covered
bodice featured long, cuffed sleeves edged with lace. Her train was held to the
back waistline by a bow. She carried a presentation bouquet of a dozen
long-stemmed red roses.
The bride’s sister, Sandra Krebsbach of Pulaski,
was the maid-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Susan Ridderbusch of Madison and Julie
Ridderbusch of Abbotsford, sisters of the groom. Their gowns were fashioned with
gathered skirts of burgundy sculptured velvet and long-sleeved, French-cuffed
white blouses with ruffle-edged front yokes. The cuffed collars were edged with
ruffles and encircled by burgundy velvet ribbon held with a round ruby pin. The
three attendants carried presentation bouquets of six long-stemmed red roses.
Fred Schindler of River Falls served as bestman. Groomsmen were Dave
Loucks of River Falls and Daniel Krebsbach of Colby. Dale Krebsbach of Colby and
bob Neildhold of Eau Claire acted as ushers.
An afternoon reception for
275 guests was held at The Park, the music was provided by Phil and Jay. A 5
p.m. wedding supper was served at the church.
The bride, a 1969 graduate
of Colby High School, has been employed in Thorp. Her husband, a 1966 graduate
of Abbotsford High School, graduated from River Falls State University in 1970.
He is a teacher. The newlyweds are living at 700 Division Street in Colby.
