Wightman, Charles E. (1889 - 22 September 1950)

Belated word comes of the death of Charles E. Wightman. He died at La Crosse September 22, 1950.

Mr. Wightman was the son of Cornie and Nettie Wightman, old residents of Pine Valley. Born in 1889, he lived in Pine Valley, and was married there in 1913 to Nancy H. Wood. He lived on a farm at Tioga for seven years and in 1920 moved to La Crosse. Since 1937 he had been a machinist for Allis Chalmers.

He is survived by his wife, his mother, Mrs. Nettie Wightman, and two daughters, all of La Crosse; by a brother, Andrew of Pine Valley, and a sister, Mrs. Marion Lehman of Scandinavia, Wis.
